I just cancelled my cable subscription last Dec and I couldn't be more happier. Life without TV is actually really good. I have more time in the morning before work to eat a solid breakfast. Iam able to go to the gym more often. I have free time to finally play video games, watch my blu-ray collection or stream Netflix. With MLBTV I can keep up with my sports team. Plus I save an extra $70 a month in cable bills. Kill your television? Nah just use it for other things than network cable.

I wish I could but I can't do without NASCAR and just Speed channel in general. Other then NASCAR I would be fine without cable. I would just use Hulu Plus and iTunes to keep up with current shows.

Haven't had cable in 2 years. I fine with it. Would rather wait till my favorite show's season is over get it on DVD or BD and watch the whole season is a day or two.

I wouldn't be able to cope with not having cable.

I watch my Pens on FSN Pittsburgh, which is a local network cable channel. I could listen to the games on the radio, but it's just not the same.

If it was just me...I could live without it..almost. I really watch it for NASCAR, some NFL games and NHL. For all the years we didn't get Blackhawks games I have to keep it lol. A few TV shows but most of them are starting to show up on Netflix. I've been streaming more on my PS3 lately.
