Default 2011 Missed List!

The Year, 2011 saw a plethora of releases from catalog to new releases!

I unfortunately couldn't get Every title I wanted released last year, for some odd reason or mainly due to pricing and I was flat out broke. And it just seemed difficult to catch up with the numerous amounts of titles last year!!

The flicks on my "2011 Missed List" are,

Buitiful, I've never seen it on sale anywhere
Superman Anthology, I missed the low 50 buck sale, cause I was broke
Pee-Wee's Big Adventure
Manhunter
Winnie The Pooh
Midnight Cowboy, It seems to be out of print already!
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Trilogy ( Extended Cut ), after seeing the Fincher flick, this is definitely catching my eye!

So I'm definitely looking forward to grabbing these at a discounted price!!

I miss out some box-set, take times to complete it.
  • Stanley Kubrick Limited Edition Collection
  • The Superman Motion Picture Anthology
  • Underworld Trilogy: The Essential Collection
  • Three Colors Trilogy

As for single title, they is too much to list down...

Pee Wee was $15 on its release and it's still $15. I however am waiting for $10 or less.

+1 ... I'm just not ready to spend 15 bucks on this yet!! ... Plus with all the titles coming out in this month, I don't see myself buying any missed titles until Income Taxes!!

Have to say again for those who missed the Superman set, just order it from the UK. Great 8 disc set that's region free and costs a lot less than the American release. I want Midnight in Paris myself, just waiting for it to drop to $20- again first.

I'm adding The Walking Dead : Season One, to my Missed List! The 3 Disc Version sounds very tempting!

Steelbooks in general

I've only just started getting a collection nack for the things.

Expendables is my first.

Problem is they are above my limit for purchases usually. Or Ive already got the title in keep case or box set, and having a second copy just for steelbook is silly. Plus if you have a steelbook of a title thats in a set, you then make it the odd one out usually.

Then also a problem is they are often exclusives. It gets tricky being aussie unless they are amazon exclusive I miss out due to high shipping from play.com/hmv/best buy outlets.

Honestly if you display like I do(and I imagine most people display the same way) with the case inside the slipbox and the red spine facing out, you can't see any of the UK logos until you pull it off the shelf. Worth it anyway, to get 5 movies and some extras for $35, especially since you get 2 cuts each of the first two movies.
