Default Sonic x

I don’t own this and I have never seen it. Have you seen the new unedited Japanese version ? Which do you prefer to watch the edited English language version or the unedited Japanese language version ?

The Japanese version is universally preferred as it is as intended without cuts unlike the 4kids dub English version. The Japanese dub discotek blu-ray is the best way to watch currently, however some very minor & short censored sequences made their way into the release, which some fans were disappointed about.

I've noticed that the discotek sonic x japanese blu-ray has disappeared from some retailers recently. Hoping it was pulled for a revised corrected version to come out in future - wishful thinking.

On the right stuff web site there is a Japan dub and an English dub. Is the English dub the original Japan version or the 4kids version?

There's no 'original Japan version' of the English dub.
The English version is the 4kids version, with English audio, with content edits where applicable.
The Japanese version is the original version of the show, with Japanese audio and English subtitles. This version has no English audio.

The dub was so bloody awful (as expected), I watched it in Spanish with English subs when I watched it on netflix. The Japanese version is a billion times better. Just a shame about the censored bits on the disc. At least it has the 5.1 track. Just wish these SD discs were progressive.
