Well add this one you just made

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...d=1#post222515

Funny thing about all this is that it is all talk, like any of this will ever come to fruition and if it does, really how many are actually going to buy one.

Well you need the "How will we show we're beyond obsessed?" thread, then you need the "We need to threaten HD-DVD supporters and scare them away" thread, then there's the "We've decided we need shirts" thread, then there's "T-Shirt or Sweatshirt?" thread, then "T-shirt Pre-Pre Announcement". And all of that comes before "What will this shirt look like?" Later on down the road, we'll need a "Who's going to make these shirts?" thread, then a "Who's going to sell the shirts?" thread, and then finally, "who's actually going to wear these rediculous shirts?" thread. But it all ends with the same thing... vommit.

I was thinking that if we had enough threads, we could weave them together into a... t-shirt! :-)

The question is more like how many Blu Blood threads do we have to see?

As long as it is in the Off Topic area it's not that big of a deal. The serious talk can go on in the other forums. A perfect solution is the "Blu Bloods" chip in and get their own website or Myspace page to hang out.

I don't think the mods like having to act as parents.
I don't think the Bloods enjoy being hounded, (well, some do.)
I don't think older posters can get into the movement.

There's nothing wrong with having some fun or telling a lighthearted joke but the delivery is crucial. The off topic area is best suited for it.

I agree. I think merging all the blu blood related threads together would be nice. call it ''the official everything about the blu bloods and I mean EVERYTHING''

I ''joined'' because I thought it was funny and that it would go away soon and be kind of a mystery to newcomers ''whats with all these people with variations of blu blood in their sig?''. but it has gone waaaaayyy to far. the tshirts, the threads, the anti threads, I would remove it from my sig, but I still think it would be a funny little thing if people on both sides of the blu blood line would just lighten up. I think we should call a cease fire and get back to business as usual.

maybe this whole thing has been perpetrated by hd dvd people covertly to try and get us to destroy one another. I smell a conspiracy theory.

Theres excellent points in this post... And i would believe if we get either blu-lood subforum or atleast sticky general blu-blood discussion thread, and those who cant handle concept of bluuds agree to stay out... we have solved the prob.

The day there's a Blu-Blood sticky is the day I quit coming to this site. Why should the people that have been coming here for over 6 months now have to stay out of a thread started by people that have been here 10 days? There shouldn't be any threads that people need to stay out of. At all.

I PM'd mods. Time to shut this whole thing down.

They need to buy their own domain and setup shop somewhere else.

The Blu-Bloods? I'd totally agree with that.

So... Blu-Ray has been around how long now? And you people that call yourselves the Blu-Bloods just came about now. Do you honestly think anything you do will help Blu-Ray? I am trying to understand what has been "constructive" in ANY of your posts. This place is for Blu-Ray, not Blu-Bloods. Recently, the posts around here have been getting worse by the hour. You're not supporting Blu-Ray, you're supporting these things called the Blu-Bloods. Had someone started up a thread (which someone actually did back in the day) about Blu-Ray gear, that'd be a whole nother thing. Heck, I'd buy a window cling or a bumper sticker to show support for Blu-Ray, but you people are acting like you're some sort of gift to Blu-Ray when in all reality you're a nuisance.

Let me add this... there shouldn't be Blu-Bloods, we should all be on the same page here. We all love movies, and we love Blu-Ray. Some of us have more knowledge than others, but they're not apart from anyone else. What the Blu-Bloods are trying to do, is pointlessly isolate themselves. It's like a bunch of people arguing who loves Blu-Ray more at this point, which is absolutely pointless. Again, we should all be together here.

The outside observer -- once he stops laughing -- probably senses that this immodestly named clique is a divisive element in what would otherwise have been a group discussion. I wonder if the Blu-bloods would consider voluntarily relinquishing their august titles for the sake of a show of unity with Blu-ray supporters of all walks of life. The citizenry are starting to object to these Blu-blooded self-stylings, and that leads to one place only: revolt.
