Denon DBP-1611UD player - Blu-ray Forum

Hi there y'all,

Last friday I bought a new player. The DENON DBP-1611UD.
As there is no "Users thread" for this player I put my question here.

Is it possible to upgrade the firmware without connecting the player to the internet?

I'm sure like all players you can do it througha thumbdrive or cd, just check out their site.

I found out that it can only be updated through an internet-connection.

Alas, I have to wait.........
