Default Sony selling to Toshiba?

http://www.engadget.com/2007/09/15/s...es-to-toshiba/

That...confuses me. Wouldn't it be a bad idea to sell one of your production facilities to the enemy?

great news for Blu-ray, because now toshiba has an investment in the PS3. once acquiring these assets, their bottom line will be to sell PS3. Probably, Toshiba has thrown in the towel on HD-DVD and to capitalize on Blu-ray, they'll need some kind of back up plan and that's to invest in the PS3.
