Default Walmart and Blu-ray = Great Prices

Hey I just wanted to share me major score yesterday at Walmart. I picked Kingdom of Heaven for $24.99 and P.o.t.C. Curse of the Black Pearl for $24.99. That's cheaper than Amazon!!!! I noticed that some Walmarts have a small selection but the one's that actually have the HD display have a pretty good selection. Just thought I'd share.

I just wish they would lower their online price of Kingdom of Heaven. They do have some great buys.

actually it is not cheaper than amazon, theres no tax with amazon and free shipping, so really the only question is if you want to wait to get them or not.

That's the same price as amazon isn't it? (free shipping from amazon) Amazon also has occasional deals on Blu-ray. If you find them for under $20, it's a great deal.

Between August 12 and October 2 i will have purchased 17 movies...My wife is telling me I have to cool it so price is everything right now. That and turn around time.

I always try to avoid walmart and sam's club due to their business practices. Target and Costco treat their employees far better (benefits, vacation time) and offer equal or competitive prices. Rant over.

Never worked for Walmart but I worked for Sam's for three years and had both. I simply wish I had a closer Costco. The nearest one is almost 30 miles away and Walmart/Sam's is like 6-10 miles away. I have a target fairly close but there prices aren't so competitive.

RoM and everyone else just to let you know Amazon Prime is actually worth the money. You pay $80 a year and get free two day shipping on most things. $1.99 per line item for next day- regardless of weight. I bought a rowing machine and next day shipping would have been $100 but it was only $2 with prime. That paid for the membership. Instead of adding disc after disc to reach a minimum for free shipping you can order one disc (or more) at a time, get it in two days and still pay nothing for shipping.

If you buy alot from Amazon and are impatient (as I am) it really does pay off. In addition other people can sign up to your prime account (for no additional cost) and get the same benefits.

I don't like to promote things too often and apologize if this breaks some term or conditions but I have found this service to be very worthwhile and after reading numerous posts about people adding discs to get free shipping I thought I would present another option.

The next day for $1.99 is a nice feature but it's per line item and if you order several things the shipping cost can really get up in price but regardless of quanities ordered two day is always free. (as long as it is sold direct from Amazon)

feeling dumb for not checking the titles now but I saw at LEAST 8 titles for 19.96. I already had all of the ones that I wanted though. They do have some good prices.
