United Kingdom The Incredibles - anything special?

Just wondering if anybody has heard anything about limited or collector editions?

A unique "i" shape would be pretty cool, where the disc is the dot on the i.

All we know so far is that it's out at the end of april 2011 (i for one can't wait as this is Pixar's best film).

Will probably be a double of triple-play feature.

I really want to adore The Incredibles but the music bugs the heck out of me it seems to have riffs on a spyfilm James Bondy tune, which doesn't fit my impresion of a superhero type story. I know the evil villain is sortof a Bond parody/supervillain but it just didn't gel with me.

Fantastic film though. We're going to see steelbooks for some territories I'd imagine. It will be Finding Nemo after this one I think, it's another great film.

Currently watching on iplayer as dvd has gone walk abouts, and will be buying due to Pixar (can't wait for their Scottish stories one, blanked on name).
Would be buying to add to Pixar Collection but currently hunting for the Luxo Lamp collection.

HMV's customer service can be pretty useless though. I ordered it about a year ago, and they sent me no tracking number for its delivery, after it hadn't turned up for a week after it being sent out I rang them and enquired and they gave me a tracking number but it was a number that didn't exist. (it turned up a day later anyway)

But all I can say is, just order it anyway and see what happens. You wouldn't be charged until it was sent for delivery anyway

You can buy it direct from Disney.co.uk. I saw it there yesterday when I had to add new movie rewards.

He's talking about the Disney movie rewards website, but you need a ridiculous amount of points to redeem it...

No news on this release? Anything? Not even the artwork?

I'm thinking about just getting the US release, since i will have it sooner and it will have no stupid "TRIPLE PLAY" banners which all major studios seems to be doing nowadays... Whatever happened to "Blu Ray + DVD + Digital Copy"? How about a simple sticker which sits on outside of the wrapper? It's not that hard guys! (Talking to the studios)

Anyway, The Incredibles is one of the few Blu Rays that i dont mind paying £25 in order to obtain...

No need to pay that, it's in a BOGOF offer at Freerecordshop.nl so for £25 you can get 2 copies.

I would wait to buy the Dutch release because at this time it's still unclear if the release includes one disc or two or three or if it's a blu-ray/DVD combo pack. Information about the release is virtually nonexistent.

Planetaxel

dvdworldusa

.

They also tend to ship out even before the US release date. But their prices aren't cheap.

I normally use Axelmusic, but i think it is rather expensive sometimes like you said.

Lately i've been importing from an independent retailer called Blubastard.com - Free shipping, reward points and no Import Tax. Good site, very nice people but shipping is incredibly slow and they don't have a very big catalogue.

The Incredibles there is basically the same price as Axelmusic (£25) but i have a voucher for £5 off with Blubastard so..
