Default Blu-ray T-Shirts?

With Disney recently announcing it's cross-country Magical Blu-Ray tour, I thought I'd gauge the reaction that people might have to an idea that I thought of a little while ago.

What about T-shirts with sayings on them that we can wear around to show our support for Blu-ray? Things like "Boycott Universal / Support Blu-Ray" and "HD-DVD: The Look and Sound of Desperate" would look very nice on shirts, IMO.

And, of course, if you were planning on making a trip to the local mall where Disney's tour stops, you could wear it there to help convince some of the unknowing public to support Blu-ray. I would certainly not want to take any profit from this (mainly due to a little thing called copyright infringement), but I think it would be very beneficial to this war if people were able to show their support outside of forum posts.

If anybody is interested or has any other ideas, post them here, and we'll see what we can do to end this war as quickly as possible.

How about just a big ass Blu-ray logo and the words "Beyond High Definition"...

I'd wear one!

EDIT: Another idea... big Blu-ray logo and the rest of the Tshirt real estate taken up with the BDA members logos.

Nice idea, but not something I would wear. It would probably get people asking questions which would spread the word about Blu ray though.

Talking Blu-Ray T-Shirts & Caps

I agree with the idea of t-shirts with the Blu-Ray logo on it and then some catchy slogan like "Beyond High Definition" or something like that. I don't think the slogans should slam HD DVDs. Not that I care about their feelings or whatever, but why give them any publicity at all? After all, I wear Pink Floyd shirts & 300 t-shirts, why not Blu-Ray t-shirts & baseball caps? I think it would get some people to stop and ask me about Blu-Ray and it would help to spread the public awareness about the cool world of Blu-Ray.

"I Blu-Ray: Do you?"

I agree. Positive message (that look good) would be cool.

I like Disney's "Better than Perfect" slogan.

Or maybe, "I helped win the format war and all I got was this lousy t-shirt."

More like, "I helped win the format war and all I got was the undisputed superior home theatre experience!" followed by a nice big Blu-ray logo.

Just throwing this out there.

"Have you watched a Blu-ray movie today?"

or

"You haven't seen high definition until you've seen Blu-ray."

or

DVD (or a phrase about DVD) in really blurry letters and Blu-ray (or a phrase about Blu-ray) in really clear letters.

Or better yet, see if somebody from the BDA will make some t-shirts with actual characters, like one poster I saw that showed recognizable characters from different movies, like "Nemo", "Spider-man" and different ones. I don't remember the whole thing, but from memory it could make a nice shirt. Maybe that roadshow at the malls will have some t-shirt giveaway.

I'd wear a logo and "beyond high definition" shirt. While we're at it, I would really want a baseball cap with the logo embroidered(I don't know if I spelled embroidered right or not, but it's past 4:20a.m. and I'm not spell checking) above the slogan "beyond high definition."

That's just way to wierd for me. I'm really not that passionate about it. Inferior products can continue to exist. Now I might where a basic Blu-Ray shirt just to kick around the house.
