It seems interesting but I would be very interested to know if it is pressed and the quality of the image

It seems pretty obvious that the discs will be identical to the Full Moon ones that have already been released.

The set is really nice, but I’m just not a big enough fan to pick it up for $250. Especially when all the movies only feature lossy audio.

Obviously it will be just the same discs that have been around for awhile (although I guess they are getting new artwork for each one). I think he was talking about the box, is it just images pressed on cheap cardboard. I doubt it's thin plywood that's been painted although that would be a nice surprise.

way too expensive at $250 for discs that have been around for years.basically paying a premium for trunk and signature

I own a number of Full Moon titles (i.e. Dr Mordrid, Meridian, Dark Angel, Trancers etc) but could never really find their "Puppets", "Toys" or "Dolls" fliks appealing. Just a matter of taste of course.
I'm considering flipping a coin over picking up their Jess Franco collection, as 10 films for $70 is not a bad deal at all, even as DvDs.

edit; mind, for only about $20 more, I could get the two Paul Naschy sets, (in Blu!) so probably a better spend....for better films... heh.

Knowing Mr. Band, you'll probably get chiggers with those trunks.

All I want is the trunk. It's a cool set but I have all the ones I want on blue ray already. I quit caring after 5, and couldn't stand the cgi one I saw, never saw any after that.

Well, it might be worth ordering, then selling the Blus on EBay?
Not sure if you will break even that way though, as the Blus have been out individually for a while.

Yeah I got all of them on blu so far from 88 films but 88 stopped releasing them so need to get individual releases from US for the rest.

The case looks very cool and the bonus disc sounds good depending on whats on it.
But yeah its a lot of money. No idea if I will skip it and hope they release all individually so I can grab the ones I dont already own.

And a Charles Band signature, existing as it does on literally thousands of items, is entirely worthless as an added incentive or evidence of exclusivity, uniqueness, or value. The man would, and probably has, sign(ed) anything.

I agree. I also like how it says “First 100”. Leaves the door wide open for more to be manufactured as they sell out each batch.

The bonus disc, "Arcana of The Puppet Master" will feature never before seen behind the scenes footage from all the movies, including lots of footage of David Allen doing stop-motion...
