United Kingdom Recommend some Sword Wielding films

Hey guys, I've just finished Spartacus and have always had a love of Roman culture, so I was wondering if you could recommend me any films like it? Anything will do, and it doesn't have to be Roman, anything from Pathfinder to Troy, or Centurion to Kingdom of Heaven.

Films I have seen:
Gladiator
Robin Hood
Robin Hood and the Prince of Thieves
King Arthur
Pathfinder
Troy
Braveheart
300
Rome (TV Series)
Solomon Kane <- Terrible film!
The Last Samurai
The Eagle

Films I'm going to watch:
IronClad
Centurion
Valhalla Rising
Attila
Conan The Barbarian
The Last Legion
Red Cliff
Highlander
Arn: The Knight Templar

Thanks in advance

I've seen those, I should probably list what I have seen. Blade is set in more "modern" times, I'm looking for older set films.

Personally, the very best "Sword Play" film on Blu-ray is the 1938 Adventures of Robin Hood. But I think what you're after are closer to Roman Epics.

I know El Cid and Fall of the Roman Empire are both available in Region B blus. The films are amazing. I think the Black Shield of Falworth and Valhalla Rising are also available in Region B. Also try The Messenger: Story of Joan of Arc, which is a personal favorite.

Aside from the ones you've seen, other favorites of mine include:

"Apocalypto" (maybe not so much with swords, but it is one wicked film)
"Attila" (a miniseries; if you like Roman stuff, you'll probably dig this)
"Conan the Barbarian" (the original, if you don't mind some hard-edged fantasy)
"Dragonheart" (if you don't mind some fantasy; I don't remember how much swordplay is in it though)
"Excalibur" (recommended as a rental)
"Ladyhawke"
"The Last Legion" (I thought it was alright; give it a rent, especially if you liked "King Arthur")
"The Last Samurai"

If you don't mind subtitles, I also recommend these Asian epics:

"Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon"
"Hero" (probably my favorite foreign movie)
"Red Cliff" (second-favorite foreign movie; complete International Cut preferred)

Nice one thanks guys That's given me some food for thought. I'm not really into the whole Chinese cinema thing, I always find it's over the top?

I have updated my list and will be adding a "will watch list". Hopefully this way people can get more of an idea

Of course I have seen LotR! I have both the TE and EEs! Check my collection first (for obvious ones) :P It's huge!

EDIT: Also, I'm not really that into older films, i.e. 70s and earlier. There is just something about them I don't enjoy, maybe it's the posh accents :P They just don't seem "real".

I've heard of this, it looks quite good! Camelot looked good too but I never got a chance to watch it.

Would definitely recommend The Eagle. Watched it the other night, was a brilliant film.
I would also recommend Black Death. Not so much an action film with swordplay, but one of those Historically inaccurate films with exaggerated scripts :P I thought it was a good film, don't know anybody else's opinions on here, haven't seen it mentioned yet scrolling down the thread.

Unfortunate since Asian cinema has the best sword fighting movies.

It was (Camelot) released last Monday on DVD. Plus it's been cancelled. Games of Thrones is really good though and I'm looking forward to the home video release.
