I tried a search but my thread skills aren't too good so I found nothing. I recently bought the Band of Horses "Infinite Arms" CD and the more I listen to it the better I like it. However I don't have a good system set up yet so I have listened to it in my car where it sounds somewhat distorted. I feel like it is subject to the loudness war that dobyblue has talked about. So is this production available with better mastering or is the basic CD all that is available? Or is it just me, my car stereo creating the problem and others have no issue with the sound? I should have listened to this with my headphones before writing this but I really think the tracks are just recorded too loud in some passages and got impatient.
