Which to buy...help! - Blu-ray Forum

Ok . So i can get a un55c8000(2010 model) at my local best buy for about $2100. Or I can go with the un55d6420 (this years model) for the same. My question is what will give me better 2d picture quality i.e. better black level/better processor etc..

I am not a Samsung guy but if I was I would go with the c8000 no questions asked!!!

If those are the correct/same models, I pulled this from the Samsung site:

8,000,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio (C8000)
5,000,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio (D6420)

Samsung Apps on the C8000
Smart TV with Samsung Apps on the D6420
0.9" Thin on the C8000
1.2" Deep on the D6420

So the picture quality should be best on the C8000 per those stats, but I don't know if they fixed or improved on some of the processing or 24p features on the newer model.
