Default Why I left Pokemon.

Back when the first genration of Pokemon came out, I was excited. The series was unlike anything I've ever seen before. I because a big fan quickly, between watching the TV shows and playing the video games. Yellow was my first one. While I loved the gameboy game, I was superexcited when we finally got to play it on the console.

Of course that ended up being Pokemon Snap. I'm like okay....then we got Pokemon Stadium. My problem with that was it wasn't what I expected. It was awesome but....I craved more. When Smash Bros released for the N64, one of my favorite levels was Saffron city. I finally got a 3d rendering of what a pokemon game for the N64 looked like.

I eventually fell from pokemon's grace in about 2002 or so. Every console game just focused on battle and not a full fledged RPG. The hanhelds aren't even fully 3d yet, despite the DSes capabilities. I'm sorry, but waiting over a decade for something so simple can cause you to lose your faith.

My question is why? The amount of money Nintendo could make on that would be immense. In fact, I think it would be the second coming of the franchise? What do you guys think?
