Default Help with my lcd warranty problem

Happend today long story sry....I purchased a samsung 52" lcd from best buy in 2008...the employee working there said to stay away from plasmas and get a lcd because plasmas had burn in...so i went with it..then he said want to get our warranty...i said no i will take the 1 yr manufacture..he said well they will need you to ship it to them where we will come to your house and fix it..if we come out 3 times we give you a new tv or a comperable one..and if we cant fix it we do the same deal no matter what...so i spent a extra 4-5 hundred for it..since then i have purchased a 42 inch and a 55 inch lcd from best buy...

FINALLY the 52" gave me a problem this year (still under warranty) it was doing the clicking thing and not coming on...best buy came out fixed it and it was good..2 days later my screen had 2 vertical white lines...the guy comes back out and says yep burn in you get a new tv...he calls his supervisor and they say nope warranty covers everything but burn in sorry...the guy leaves...i then call geeksquad and they say lcd cant get burn in...and it has to be something else there sending a guy with parts out next week..i then called best buy where i got the tv and they said yea that the lcd had to have something else wrong and if they cant fix it tuesday next week to call them and they will give me a new one...

I still feel like they will try to get around it because someone was saying its policy and they would be pissed but they cant do anything for me...after i spent 4 or 5 hundered dollars on a warranty that isnt up until 2012 and my tv now has lines 2 days after the clicking repair...Am i wrong to be pissed that they told me lcd dont get burn in...and the warranty covered everything then the lcd is said to have burn in and the warranty covers all but that?

Im gonna see what happens tuesday..see when i got the tv in feb 2008 i guess the burn in wasnt in the warranty til october 2008 when they started the black tie thing...but like i said they told me no burn in on lcd and they told me that today also...and they said the warranty covered everything when i bought it...even if i would have read the fine print which i didnt think i had to with best buy...they said lcd dont get burn in so why would i care? Anyone think i will win in this situation? I kinda dont...but im trying to be positive and be calm til tuesday...i didnt get any sleep today calling all these people...out of the 5 people i talked to 2 of them was very cool...1 was rude...and the other two was working in the department but didnt know anything about tvs it seemed like...sorry for the long story...just felt like getting it out here...thanks i dunno if i will shop best buy after this..and im a silver reward zone member..spent over 7 thousand there in the last year on tvs..and game systems and stuff like that and i feel treated wrong and given the run around...

Best Buy Protection Plan biggest ripoff ever, never ever buy it. Just deal with the manufacturer's warranty, if it dies out or gets a burn out, it wasn't that great of a tv and the replacement model would be crap too so just get a new tv entirely.

There's always some fine print with those pricks, never ever buy store warranties. It's a scam made to help make the store money.

I had bought a toshiba lcd tv in 2008 and just last month I started to notice 2 lines going down the tv when watching a hd channels. The lines are burnt in from shows that arent hd. The warrenty company sent out a tech who told me that burnt images on lcd's are rare. He ordered and replaced the lcd display. The very next day after 2 hours of watching the picture gets so dark the tv is un watchable.so they are comming out again to fix this new issue.I hope they replace the damn thing
