Is it the same as that show that aired the week before Wrestlemania? If so I'll probably pass until it is cheap because it was just a promotional piece.

The Rock is one of my all-time favorites but this idea is pretty lame (imo) ... not worthy of it's own release.

Im kinda curious about the WM 28 "film cut" of Rock vs Cena but everything else about this release is laughable.

i had stopped watching wrestling around 2002 or so and here and there bought dvds and blus of certain events. Mainly ECW stuff, but I went out to see The Rock Vs. Cena.

It was the worst wrestling match i have ever seen. Almost as bad as Hulk Warrior 2 and Bret Hart vs Davey Smith.....wow.

I'm amazed that match is even getting a release.

Thats extremely harsh. I was at Wrestlemania and the stadium was electric during that match. I still get goosebumps thinking about it now. It was comparable to John Cena vs. CM Punk the previous year in Chicago at MITB. The whole crowd was behind The Rock and it was worthy as a Wrestlemania headliner. They may not have put on the best match technically but there match was more exciting then CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho. They took the crowd on a journey and seeing The Rock celebrating and interacting with the crowd as he exited brought tears to my eyes. Id rate it as the second best match of the card and certainly a contender for the best headlining match at any PPV this year.

i can see a shitty band live and have a great time, i can listen to their cd and will say they blow and are the worst band alive.

I'm sure you had a great time and i'm sure wrestlemania live and being anywhere in that building you had a blast, but please re watch that match, it was awful. I could almost hear them talking for spots and no one believably sold any move whatsoever.

I'm going to chalk that up to the rocks movie career and not wanting to get any cuts or broken bones and not take any risks I GET IT. The match was still awful.

That was supposed to be the biggest match of the year...err...probably EVER, but maybe it was too much hype, maybe I was expecting more, maybe I was just let down. To each his own....however I am jealous you go to go. that's pretty sweet.

Maybe I'm naive but I really believe that wrestling is more important to the The Rock then acting. He didn't have to be at Wrestlemania. He didn't have to be at Survivor Series. He didn't have to travel around the country to be at Raw countless times over the past year and he didn't have to announce that he will win the WWE title at next years Royal Rumble. He did it for his love of wrestling. I haven't watched the BD yet but I find the things you say about them audibly talking for spots and not selling moves to be unbelievable. Love him or hate him John Cena is a consummate professional and what he lacks technically he more then makes up for in character. He has been in countless classic matches and has been the face of WWE for seven years. He could make a crap wrestler look good, let alone a WWE legend like The Rock who looks in even better shape now then he did even when he was the face of the company ten years ago.

I also doubt anyone who has ever watched WWE went into Wrestlemania expecting that match to the best technically (that was always going to be CM Punk v Chris Jericho) or the most entertaining (that was always going to Triple H v The Undertaker) but it was a worthy main event and as good as anyone should have expected.

Cena wasn't the problem; The Rock was. Cena had to carry him the entire way, and multiple times, it looked like The Rock was just dead weight. There are several times in the match where the calls can be seen and heard.

But that match is the worst WrestleMania headlining match I've ever seen.

I would have to agree. Cena seemed like he tried his damnedest and I'll give him that, I would have to agree. It was like the rock didn't even want to come out with a bruise and I'm sure that limited Cena to what he could do and didn't make for a good match.

I'm also sure The Rock makes a ton more money in movies than in wrestling with less effort put forth than wrestling. I'm also certain he wasn't "On the road with the boys" the entire year he was doing the story line.

Rock apprently tore his hamstring on the Cena top rope leg drop spot so I give Rock a bit of respect for finishing the match. Doesn't excuse the other 20 some odd minutes of Rock being in terrible ring shape though.

Problem is, the Rock gassed out early on.

Oh, and he is a bully.

They keep playing Flo Rida and MGK's song that though not a rap fan, those songs grew on me and reminds me of Mania so much.

When it comes to Cena vs. Rock, its more of the build up... its one of those that the journey is better than the destination. Still a decent match nonetheless.

But both of them cant hold a candle to THE MIZ!!!!!!!!!!

Other than the ending, Cena/Miz was way better than this one. But that's the only one I've seen and can remember of those you listed.

The other main events make Rock Vs. Cena look like a 5 star classic.

Personally, I thought Cena Vs. Miz was terrible. Not only did Miz have no business main eventing freaking Wrestlemania, but the match showed they had no in-ring chemistry together and it didn't help Cena was half-assing it either that night (probably because he wasn't happy about jobbing to The Miz). The Rock owning Cena was the saving grace of the match because the crowd didn't seem to give two sh*ts about it until the finish.
