Shot in 2012 and skipping cinemas, which is hardly a vote of confidence. From the bad reviews singling out the poor special effects it looks like they ran out of money to finish it.

Finally seen this and it's not bad, far better than i was expecting. It has a fantastic finale that is hinted at in the trailer as the heroes have to infiltrate a palace.

Does anyone know if this is in the correct aspect ration, as its signature entertainment?

Canada Running time query...

Just picked up my copy here in Canada, and the back cover & disc artwork specifies a running time of only 94 mins, instead of the 115 mins as indicated from all online sources, such as IMDB. The disc is from 'VVS Films'. Does anyone know if there are different cuts of the film, or if this is perhaps a 'typo'? Guess I'll find out when I pop the disc in ...

*Update: 94 mins is a typo -- actual running time is approx 115 mins

Pft.
Only four posts, of all the "Knight" movies that I've seen, this one had a bit more credibility then most.
[Show spoiler]Not all the good guys make it through and the King and his corrupt Kingdom survive. As stated earlier, they must have run out of money because one of the scenes was set against a painted back drop of the castle court yard (the building behind the actors)

I watched it because I like Morgan Freeman and I though it would be interesting to see him in this type of movie. I don't believe he has ever co-starred in this type of fiction.

Hmmm.
Well OK, but that is way back from 1991.

So this flick only has a thread in the UK? Last Knights was looking to be better than reviews/posts had led me to expect. Morgan Freeman was ... regal. But, and I don't want to reveal anything, I hate endings which try to have it two ways. A real letdown, that.
