Sony Pictures will be releasing the 1994 comedy Guarding Tess, which stars Shirley MacLaine, and Nicolas Cage, on Blu-ray on November 14th. This will be a MOD release (It will be pressed).

It's about time! I love this movie. I saw it in the theater with some friends in high school, and I've been a fan ever since.

Watched disc, it looks great.

I hadn’t seen it since the VHS release and just as I recalled seeing it back then it still remains much more a drama than comedy. I know I found it a bit of a letdown at the time because MacLaine was riding the wave of Postcards from the Edge & Steel Magnolias … and this is a much more reserved MacLaine.

Was great seeing the late David Graf. Of course this being a Hugh Wilson film - we get the connection.

Among Nicolas Cage's lesser-known earlier films, this is probably my favorite. He wasn't a big name back then, but you could tell from this movie he had comic timing that would take him a long way in Hollywood.

The Plan B UK release of Red Rock West plays fine on Region A players you don't need to have a region free player. Kiss of Death I think was put out by Resen I don't have the disc but I would assume that would also play fine on Region A players. As for Trapped In Paradise I have no idea why that has not gotten a Blu-ray release yet I liked the move so I would buy it.
