I purchased my screen yesterday .. went for 110" 16:9 matt white electric screen from orchid-projectors on ebay for £132.00 including free delivery.
Now if you look at my home theatre pics on my sig, you will see that the wall mounted Audyssey Wide Surround Speakers can just fit in a 110" diagonal screen and with that I will have 2.5 cms space on each side of the speakers where it meets the edge of the screen. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/110-HD-ELECTRI...item27b8f50c3b I was thinking of going for the optoma panoview screen 120" but it would be overlaping my speakers which would ruin my wide surround effect and this screen costs more than double than the one I purchased .. It costs around £345.00 . The one smaller than that is the 106" panoview and it costs £320.00 . I basically couldn't see the point in spenind double and sacrificing 4 inches of screen size.. Do any of you guys think I maybe should have gone for the optoma panoview 106"? My viewing distance is 5.5 metres.. Last edited by mkohman; 03-03-2011 at 08:54 AM. |
