Well done to IGN (Idiots gone nuts) for the naming the article "Scorsese to Remake Taxi Driver?" Way to anger a ton of people over something quite interesting

It looks as if two visionaries in the film industry, Martin Scorsese and Lars von Trier, are joining forces to create a follow-up to von Trier's 2003 success, The Five Obstructions, which came together as a collaboration piece between von Trier and Jorgen Leth.
Screen Daily has the story. Lars von Trier, the director of such gritty pieces as Dogville, Antichrist, and Dancer in the Dark, will be the puppet master for the legendary Academy Award-winning director Scorsese.
Here's how this works: von Trier asks a famed director to recreate one of his classics five separate times with five different obstructions that the director must abide by. For Jorgen Leth, the target was The Perfect Human; for Scorsese, it is speculated that the film to be remade five times will be arguably his greatest achievement in filmmaking, Taxi Driver.
In an earlier interview by Screen Daily, von Trier elaborated on the experiment's process and motive. "The idea behind this obstructions thing is that you give each other tasks which will move you into an area where you have been reluctant to go yourself. Under protest, you do that and then you enlarge your repertoire."

Basically, if you haven't seen The Five Obstructions, Lars von Trier tried an experiment where Jorgen Leth had to remake Perfect Human his first film, 5 times, but each time he had to stick to a set of rules, like it has to be animated or it has to be shot in Bombay and Leth had to be the Perfect Man.
I think this looks very interesting, I'll be keeping an eye out for it
