There is also a steelbook version, I saw it on eBay earlier today.
I personally did not like the film, but has anyone seen the 3D version?

haha indeed, also a phil Collins live show in 3D, any concert, just aslong as his bald head swimmers.

The Great Escape also and Kingdom Hospital the whole series in 3D

The 3D isn't the only lie on the cover... it says it's from the makers of Piranha 2. It's not, really, it just happens to share one producer (of the three it has) with Piranha 3DD. Not sure why that'd be a glowing endorsement anyway...

I haven't seen any of this German Companies 3D conversions, but from the sound of the feedback, can it be described as auto converted 3D?

Exactly. That's literally what it is most of the time, just hard-coded onto the disc.
