Default Blu Ray: 2011

I don't know about anybody else, but to me it seems that 2011 has been, and with continuing late announcements, the greatest year for Blu-ray. I thought 2010 was a fantastic and expensive year for me regarding Blu-ray, but 2011 has blown that away. The next 3 months of September, October and November are going to be chalk full of releases that I will be picking up. Anybody else coming up with the same with that same conclusion?

I agree, but I still want dates for the Indy trilogy and Jaws.

I completely agree. I was a bit disappointed with the Blu-ray catalog releases of 2010 because it didn't seem to improve much over 2009, but the studios turned that around with the amount of catalog titles in 2011.

I definitely agree. It has been a great year for releases. We also have a few months of announcements coming up still. It wouldn't surprise me if we had a few great ones yet to be announced before the Holiday season.

Agreed. I saw many titles this year that surprised me were getting a release, and I certainly like that trend.
