I want the original Battlestar Galactica on BD for sure. I'd also like Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future, which never made it to DVD.

Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe. But, I'd recommend watching Stargate SG-1 first, even though it's Earth-based but episodes often take place in space.

Defying Gravity, fantastic - but cut short, so you have to read an interview with the showrunner to learn how it would have continued and how it would have ended. Well worth seeing what was made though - best show since LOST, in my opinion.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Maybe you won't count it because it's animated, but if you're a Star Wars fan, give it a chance. I kept away from it until I made myself watch the first season. It picks up in intensity and story as the seasons progress, and now I'm excited for the new season. The action is actually quite good, and it tends to be more "adult" than you'd expect.
