Default I am thankful for the extremist Blu-ray collectors here.

Collectors with 500+ blu rays make me feel good. I thought maybe I was going overboard on the blu ray collecting: especially rebuying movies I owned on dvd. I no longer feel that way.

For me it's sales like Block Buster and when Wal-Mart or Best Buy have $5-10 titles. Sometimes I blind buy, but, for the most part every film in my collection I like. If I posted my girlfriends BD collection we would be close to 1000 titles.

I try to refrain from the $5 sales. I see something in the best buy ad and lets say its Lord of War that's $5, and I think to myself "I like this movie, but do I REALLY like it?" and then ultimately I don't buy it. Sure its only $5 but that stuff adds up. And maybe I'd end up buying it and never watching it.

I buy everything from amazon, If you wait it out you can find really good deal. On the rare occasion ill buy elsewhere if there is an exclusive. Some ppl do the coupon thing.

Hey!!! 500+?!?! What about us 400+ collectors? Are the thousands of dollars we spent not worthy enough for your praise and gratitude? That's just rude!

Sorry that I couldn't meet your excessive standards.

That would have to cost them at least $30,000. Unless they are rich, that's just crazy. Though I doubt even steven spielberg owns that many blu rays.

I buy everything I think i'll like based on trailers, actors/actresses,directors etc. Buy all new releases day one at a premium price, and all catalog and dvd re-buys on sale or use through marketplace.

I have just about every movie out that I want, got some 30 titles on wishlist waiting for a lower price etc. For me there are not 3000 (or even 2000) movies on blu that i care for.
