Vita kinda sounds like a brand of energy drink
![]() I actually preferred NGP, but they could have went NGX for something even more"exxxtreme". Joke aside, "Vita" is weird (at least they could have tried to play it smart and go for the latin Vitae"), wonder why they went that way. Now this being said, I think "Wii" is even far worse, so a bad name is not necessarily bad for sales. |

You know what I actually find disappointing with this, is that we won't get to see kick ass spin offs of games that compensate for the lack of controls by altering the gameplay, like Killzone Liberation or Resistance Retribution. Now that its got a second analog stick, we won't be seeing any of those, especially since both franchises are sticking the their FPS roots this time around.

Well outside of Japan you had the PSP always coming in second to the DS and the PSP Go was not successful, then Sony's failed ad campaign with Marcus that was short lived. Then you have the death of the UMD as a media format. Add that all together with poor sales (in the US) for the last few years.
