Blu-ray Grand Duke

Apologies if this has been asked or the feature has been restored but several weeks ago there was a HD option on some of the programmes on the PS3 BBC iPlayer.
I first noticed it on the first two episodes of Doctor Who when I went to watch the episode a few weeks later only the SD option was there. Was it removed for some reason? It's still available on the site through the PC (there's even an option to select the HD channel). I couldn't really tell the difference on my PS3 but the website version is a big improvement video quality wise (although it does seem quite jerky at times (I only have 10-12 mbps connection). I don't have any HD content going to my TV apart from Blu-rays and it would be nice to watch a few programmes in HD, especially Doctor Who. |
