Default Prince of Egypt on Blu-ray? When???

IMO a much better film than the 1950's 10-commandments, and possibly one of best film adaptations of a biblical story. I want this in 1080p with lossless audio so bad I can't stand it. But when? Whas anyone heard if dreamworks has any plans?

Yeah, I remember watching it and thinking, "this is better than the 10 commandments. Why can't there be a live version with such amazing effects?" There's been other versions since then, but none of them have stacked up.

Concerning the blu-ray, I don't think there are currently any plans for a blu-ray version, that doesn't mean it won't ever be released tho. FYI, many years ago, I got the DTS version on amazon, which is heads and tails better soundwise than the basic DVD.

As soon as Dreamworks remembers that they made movies before Shrek...

(Which, given that "Spirit" is trauma-blocking most of those memories, could be a while.)

I ordered the DTS version but they sent me the DD version. Maybe I should look for a good deal on the DTS DVD to tide me over...

Seriously, I'm ready for some 2D Dreamworks catalog titles already. I'd get this, Road to El Dorado and Spirit.
