Default Using a laptop for gaming?

I purchased a new laptop and was going to buy a gaming desktop, but now money is gonna crush that. So I was wondering if this laptop I got will play games such as CoD MW3 and SWTOR (although I did not know I had to pay a monthly fee to play this) here is what I got in the laptop.

Intel i7-2670QM 2.2 GHz with Turbo boost up to 3.1GHz

4GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM and plan to upgrade it to 8GB

Geforce GT 520M video card/processor ( I know this is the weak spot, but how bad)

Thank you guys

You aren't going to have any issues once the ram is upgraded. My laptop has a I5 and 440M in it and runs both of those games on high with no issues.

Cool, thank you very much! You just made my day, really. I am really excited for this Star Wars game.

It is a fun game... not like many mmo that are out there where you can not do anything anything unless you are apart of a big raid/group. It is more of a rpg with online elements but it has a been a blast to play. If you are on the west coast, then fell free to join me on my server.

I have been using laptops for gaming for the past 6 years. The gap between desktops and laptops is getting smaller all of the time and I think that the monster rigs are really becoming a thing of the past. Laptops only downside is that they are not upgradeable, so vid settings can become a pain as the laptop ages.
