Hmm, if I read the review the transfer of Trainspotting isn't very good, and I'm assuming this will be the same one?

Great film, dont own it on Blu. Not really a Steelbook type of film for me though. Will decide upon seeing artwork.

the 'iconic' poster art is surely the only way to go ...and that means horizontal, and probably one of the few titles that suit it....I didnt get around to upgrading to dvd so regardless of the transfer (it must be better than my vhs surely? ) I'll be getting it.... once I see the artwork

I'd be happier to see it closer to £10 though....

Let's get a remastered uncut edition with all the extras. I'll buy that.

Id love to see that. Unlikely but fingers crossed.

Not keen on horizontal Steels but in the context of Trainspotting it seems the two are hand in hand.

As it goes, taking heroin will leave marks in the veins leaving them looking like train tracks.

Taking Heroin doesn't leave marks like that but where the needle has been darkens. The reason the marks are left is due to the abuser moving the needle to a different entry point each time. The vein gets weaker the more abuse it takes. the abuser can then see where the needle has been before & use that entry point again or move on to a fresh section. The results are dark patches & holes etc that they use to track their veins (Train Tracks).

I watched some shocking footage on this & can't believe the lengths people will go for their next 'fix'. Horrible drug indeed!
