I feel this should have been a double-feature release, rather than two $30 titles, especially given the lack of any extras.

Agreed. I was thinking of buying it until I saw they were individuals only.

No kidding, even the Slumber Party Massacre I & II 4K/Blu-ray Combo is a double feature — and still far cheaper than you can order both of these for!

Yeah VS just released Don's Red Sun Rising with a 4K transfer, plus 3-4 hours of special features, also for 30 dollars, 22 on a sale. One does have to scoff a little bit.

I would love to own those, but they won't be getting my money with that "exclusive-limited-from-our-store" bullshit. No way in hell.

No way these titles should be this much. Would of made more sense releasing a Bloodfist boxset at a decent price.

It looks like both franchises are streaming on Tubi, though only in 360p. It'd be like watching at a video resolution even lower than LD. But I wouldn't mind seeing them all.

It especially sucks when you live outside of the US. The Currency conversion and the shipping sucks. These would end up closer to about $55 a piece.

I hear the complaints about the pricing, but first Blu-rays ever released for the titles, and limited 1500 prints, probably is driving the price up. Personally got to have them as I don't want to pay crazy pricing later. Plus, I don't mind supporting niche Martial Arts flicks from the late 80's early 90's. I would pay even more for the rest of the No Retreat No Surrender series (2 & 3), King of the Kickboxers 1 & 2, or College Kickboxers.

Yeah I'm not going to defend the business model, but I needed them. I'd pay 40 each for the No Retreats, King of Kickboxers and College Kickboxers if I had to. But hopefully we get them released and at a reasonable price.

MVD Rewind should've handled these.

A shame these are probably going to be a pain for me to get, living in the UK.

Mind you, the only Don "The Dragon" movie I've seen is Batman Forever!

It's just the timing of these releases that also doesn't help. When you can pick up Silent Night, Deadly 3-5 for $11.99 and then you see these announced for $30, barebones and slipless (if thats your thing), it is doesn't exactly make you want to rush to the site and place an order.

These type of flicks get alot of play in my house, but even I haven't placed an order. $30 just doesn't seem a good deal at all, unless you are a super fan of either flick.

I also want releases of King of the Kickboxers etc, but I hope that ends up with a label that isn't trying to pull down the pants of their customers.

I agree, but I'd say crack open a MGD and let your pants get pulled down if it will get us King of the Kickboxers.

I'll also add that anytime it's a film that I remember sitting on a video store shelf with a memorable cover art, I am at their mercy if I don't already own it, sadly.

I own them both on VHS and DVD, which adds to the reasons even more! Can get another box of MGD for $30 and keep my pants on in the winter!

As for King of the Kickboxers, the rights owners want silly money. I guess Scream can afford them if these sell for $30 a pop. If I knew my money was definitely going towards titles like that, these suckers would be on the way in the mail.
