Default Help finding a subwoofer

What would be the best subwoofer for a 12x13 room? I currently have a MartinLogan Dynamo and I'm thinking of selling it to buy a better sub. Any advise?

This is a little vague. Are you more concerned with movies or music? What type of system do you have now? What budget are we talking?

Which model sub do you have now, and how come you want to get another?

First of all, what's the budget? Any restrictions on size, shape, finish, etc?

I have 1 MartinLogan DYNBLD Dynamo 10-Inch Subwoofer. My front setup is Paradigm Studio 100 v5, Paradigm CC690 v5, and the ADP 590s v5. As for color anything but Piano Gloss because my whole setup is piano gloss and its a pain to keep it maintained. Budget anything less than a $1,000 and I watch more movies than music.

Honestly, I’m a little bias on this, because I actually love my subs. They feel fantastic, the company has great customer service. I’m talking about SVS subs.

Your budget is around/less then $1000. Two is always better then one, I would go with the SVS SB12-NSD, They are listed at $599 each, but two things you can consider.

They give a discount for buying more then one, and do what I did, I was a little short(because of taxes), they lowered the price to what I had, so I could get two at the same time.

That its top notch costumer service HAMP .

Other thing for the OP if you just want a great sub on that price range , take a look at this shootout that some guys made at AVS , the good thing is they don`t say which is better but non the less what they did was great . Check all the videos its long but well merited .

That shootout IS Excellent. I spent quite a long time watching ALL the Videos, reading the text, the graphs they had, etc. Great comparisons between all the Subs they tested.

If you want a very attractive and high quality subwoofer, check Audio Concepts, Inc (ACI)'s Force XL or Titan XL subwoofers.

In my opinion, Bolzano Villetri (BV) of Italy makes some of the most attractive and unusual speakers/subwoofers. Their Center Channel Speaker is out of this world.
