I need some help! I just bought the Spin Clean record cleaner and cleaned some of my records. Some of them were brand new but had what appeared to be some gunk on the surface and distortion on certain tracks. So I thought maybe its just dirty and needs some cleaning. So I read the instructions carefully and started cleaning my records. After cleaning them I noticed almost every single record now has lots of static or crackling sounds!!! This is annoying and sounds much worse than before. On some songs I don't notice it as much but on quieter songs it bothers me. I tried using my Audioquest carbon fiber brush to try and remove the sounds but it doesn't seem to help that much. What can I do to fix this? Are my records permanently ruined?
