Sadly it will probably never happen. Their accountants will take one look and say "What's with the extra space? Put in 200 more seats, we need to make money."

What is funny/sad is that if you look at air travel 40 years ago compared to now you already had an experience closer to what was shown in the video, minus the high tech gadgetry.

It is all about the "Bus" now.

That assessment is spot-on: the bean counters will never permit this much legroom and overall comfort for those sitting in economy class, not when the bottom line takes precedence.

My girlfriend would probably have a panic attack if she even heard this idea mentioned. She's had two near-death-type experiences with flying. So this is not happening for us.

Unless Im on The Presidents or Popes plane (which by my guess would be the two most taken care of and properly serviced planes in the world) I refuse to fly.
