I have a question how do you remove the sticky residue left behind from like best buy stickers for example cause I have 3 lenticular slipcovers that have sticky residue on them but I don't want to damage the slipcovers

WD40 is the best for removing sticky glue residue. I'm not sure how well on lenticular covers but regardless, at least the cover will smell like an auto mechanics garage for the next week or so. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Personally, i wouldn't use Goo be Gone or WD-40 since the lenticular image is plastic. The chemicals would, over time, cause issues with the area you put it on. I simply use a sponge that has a rough side with some soapy water. Make sure to wipe with the grain. it may take several times to clean off glue residue but it does come off. If you go against the grain you risk ruining the lenticular effect.

Take a piece of Scotch tape and place it sticky side down to cover the residue area ... use some finger pressure to smooth it out and make sure it adheres to the residue. Then, slowly peel off the Scotch tape and the residue should come with it. It might take a couple/few attempts to get all the residue off. Alternately, you can just use a piece of Scotch tape and dab the sticky side against the residue carefully and repeatedly.
I also use this method to remove the sticky residue left on CD jewel cases by the security sticker. |

Don't buy from stores that put their stickers on them.

Goo gone apply with q tips and wipe with Kleenex or a soft toilet paper.
You will get all the residue off if you do it that way. Before you even get to that point use a uv sheet to get them off rather than a finger nail which is a major no no. For the stubbornest of stickers you need to apply with qtips goo gone under a lamp and that uv sheet to get an edge off, if parts of it are still stuck on there. Keep dabbing and use the sheet to slowly get it off. Wipe with Kleenex. If its done right, you couldn't tell there was ever a sticker there and there is no scratch from a fingernail in most cases.
