This is, by far, my most wanted Blu-Ray. The fact it was almost definetly planned (and perhaps even ready and waiting!) annoys me even more.

I'm a huge fan of the books, and think it's a wonderful adaptation. Can't wait until it comes out.

The director is still talking about making a sequel too, which he's talked about making it animated stop-motion style (think Corpse Bride) as the child actors have aged since the film.

This has just been announced on Blu-ray in Australia for release in June this year, so I would expect a U.S announcement won't be too far away...

Really? A sequel could be cool.

Why would they need new actors? Emily Browning still looks young imo

I didn't source it myself. Another member did over in another ASOUE thread (I think in the Aus. Section). They had a link to film in the database on this site. ill try and find it.
