Awesome hopefully amazon.com lists these soon and matches the walmart price. Definately up Ernest scared stupid and Baby:secret of the lost legend

FYI, Baby was released on DVD in fullcreen (now OOP).

What scares me is that according to IMDB, it was shot 2.39:1.

UGH... thats a WHOLE LOT of cropping... yuck I hate that pan and scan crap...

Why I bring that up is because a recent Mill Creek release, Money For Nothing has a OAR of 2.39:1 but was cropped to 1.78:1 for the Blu-Ray.

Fans will be upset, but it's still much better than the 1.33:1 fullscreen DVD.

Almost all of these will be sourced from made-for-cable HD masters, so any 2.39:1 scope film will have a modified aspect ratio.

True, very very VERY true... At least with 1.78 you can ALMOST avoid the Pan & Scan... every time I see a movie on TV doing that P&S stuff it makes me CRINGE... man it looks so aweful...

I will pick up the 3 Ernest flicks.I hate double features and prefer each movie on there own disc

Yeah it is, so it may be 2.35:1 on this release... but with Jim Varney and Ernest I'm not going to be a stickler about OAR...

I hate double features too, or I woulda bought the Ernest double feature disc...

Same here, I dont care for double features. But I got the double feature for Ernest. I wasnt sure how long it would take for them to come out with single releases.

I am looking forward to an offical announcement. That will make me feel better. Can we really trust Walmart's website for release dates?

Baby is 2.39 OAR. I confirmed it a few weeks back in the old thread.

I don't believe Ernest Scared Stupid will be cropped either. The hd movie channels (Starz, Showtime, and The Movie Channel) showed it in 1.85:1 (and it looked very good for broadcast hd as well).
