Default Pulled the trigger on new HT

Thanks to all who replied in my other thread about getting set up. I listened to several speakers and have definitely deviated from my original plan. I am excited to get my first real HT equipment set up. Here is what it will be:

Yamaha RX A2000 (no cost to me) This allowed me to go more on speakers
Paradigm Monitor 9's
Paradigm CC-290
Paradigm ADP 190's
Emotiva 12' Sub (I still haven't purchased the sub yet)

I was going to order the sub today, but if anyone has different suggestions feel free to chime in. 14 AWG should be ok for this, correct? Just have to order that and some banana plugs.

Congratulations and welcome to the wonderful world of Home Theatre. You know, of course, there is no turning back now and you will forever be afflicted with a disease called "upgrade-itis".

The companies you've selected make nice products, and yes, 14-gauge wire is fine.

That sub looks real good as well as the Outlaw LFM-1 Plus, and the Rythmik FV12 Direct Servo subwoofer but those are huge. I would have some difficulty fitting those in. The Emotiva 12' sub is a bit more manageable. The Epik and Outlaw are within my price range, but their size is a concern to me.

Thanks everyone. I think I am leaning toward the Outlaw LFM-1 EX since they are on sale and have free shipping. It's big, but I am sure I can find a place for it. I may use the wireless option that I can get with them.

That was really nice to read. You went out and found the ones you like and not what someone said to get.

And on top of that, you gotten some nice equipment.

What is the budget for your sub?

Congrats! Welcome to the world of HT. But I must warn you, it is a slippery slope with regards to upgrades. Use extreme caution.

Thanks...I ordered the Outlaw LFM-1 EX with the wireless connector. It is to big to sit next to my plasma and new speakers. The wireless connector will give me more options where to put it.
