Quick question, maybe 2.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this so forgive me if it is not.

1. Why do studios such as Disney re-release movies when there isn't anything new on the re-releases? For example, this Tuesday the Pixars are re-released but it is the same content. Why do they do that?

2. Why would a studio release a certain movie and not another? For example, all Pixars are released except for Finding Nemo. Why would they not release that? Or say Rush Hour 1 is out, Rush Hour 3 is out but not Rush Hour 2. Huh? I can see if 1 and 2 were out but why skip 3?
