Splash (1984) Any news on a release?? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi there,

I am just wondering whether there have been any news on the likelihood of Splash getting a Bluray release anytime soon? I haven't seen this film in years and would love to add it to my collection, I'm surprised it hasn't been released by BV yet as I though this film had quite a strong fan following, perhaps not?

Anyway if anyone knows of anything I would be very thankful for sharing, perhaps we might get something next year for it's 30th Anniversary? I think it would be cool if we also got it's TV movie sequel as a bonus!

Any Splash fans here?

Splash is scheduled for release here in Australia on the 27th of March. Like the UK, Australia falls under region B.

That's fantastic! Thanks for sharing, hopefully there will be a UK release and if not I will just import the Australian release

The picture quality is good, It's not going to win any awards or anything, but it's a lot better than the DVD.

Was about to pull the trigger on the Aussie import. The DNR is so excessive I'll pass and wait for a cheap US release.
