Hearing really terrific stuff about this, happy it's getting a release, probably going to miss my chance to see it in cinemas.

They talked about this a bit on Radio 4 the other night and praised Lowe quite a lot. I'm hoping it plays near me, though considering nothing other than the major blockbusters tend to, I'm not holding much hope.

It had a Q&A screening in Glasgow before release, but only one cinema is showing it and at crappy times. Roll on the blu as I'm dying to see this.

The trailer looks really good!.

I liked Sightseers a helluva lot, mostly due to Alice Lowe's brilliant co-writing and performance. This seems to be treading slightly similar ground with the serial killer aspect, but I trust that she'll give the subject an entirely different spin this time around.

Saw this last night and it's excellent. Very dark humour and an appropriate amount of gore. Some of the supporting characters are brilliant (DJ Dan being a highlight), and the synth score is cool. Nicely shot too, and considering the hectic shooting schedule and the fact Lowe was heavily pregnant at the time, it has turned out really well. Will be picking this one up on release day.

Anyone recived this yet? (ie an early pre-order).

Just wondering if it has a slip - and if there are any extras etc.

I've a pre-order in with Amazon, so just wondering if I'll keep that or wait a few days and re-order. Stupid thing about Prime is it'll end up going out today or Sunday via Royal Mail, to arrive Monday (or sometimes Tuesday), But a Sunday order will arrive Monday via a Prime courier (ie next day).

Very similar in tone to Sightseers with the ridiculous humour and a very interesting lead. A pretty good flick.

Has anyone received their Prevenge from Amazon?

I decided to keep my pre-order live (my pre-order was 10th May) but didn't get any dispatch notes over the weekend and now just checked m my mail to find it's 'deleayed':

"Prevenge [Blu-ray]"
Estimated arrival date: June 16 2017 - June 30 2017

So, wondering if this is another 'The Void' issue, with Amazon not ordering enough stock... if so, this means Amazon are a bit rubbish at stock estimates.

So, I guess I need to find one in a normal store - I premise HMV will have them, anyone know if Sainsburys/Asda/Tesco have them?

The rest of the blu-rays in my order just shipped out early minus Prevenge. Looks like mine is delayed too.

As a quick follow up, my other half has just checked HMV and they have copies in store (and are slip cased).

So, she's picked up a copy and I'll be cancelling my Amazon 'pre-order'. I guess it's another 'Void' issue for Amazon.

I've updated the disc specs in the database, and I just wanted to let people know that this release has 1080/50i video.

Anybody having trouble with this disc in a Sony player? It won't start up in mine.

Edit: ignore that. I didn't notice at the time because of having a low light situation in the living room, but it seems to have arrived with a crack in the disc. Now to go through the Amazon replacement process. Great fun!

I had to get a replacement as mine was damaged and the replacement came with one and I don't have to return the original, so if you don't get one drop me a PM and we can work something out.
