That is akin to corpse violation, imo. There's something immoral about "recreating" dead actors - who obviously can't consent - and putting them in films.

I have no issue with using CGI to put a dead actor in a film. Plenty of ways in which it could be fun - Kevin Costner passes by John Wayne in a saloon, murder committed in a movie studio in the 40s and Bogey is interrogated by cops, etc. - even use it to finish an incomplete movie.
But as supporting actor in a movie? I find it difficult to believe that the role is so good that there is no one living is worthy of the part. Last edited by ManOfTheForest; 11-06-2019 at 02:57 PM. |
