I really enjoyed Cars 2 and I have a theory regarding the story, specifically Mater's point in the movie. I apologize in advance if this is a little ridiculous and farfetched and I also apologize if someone had the same idea in this thread (although I doubt it). I didn't read every one of the 400+ replies, so forgive me.
Cars 2 may be Pixar's most introspective movie to date. It's a gorgeously crafted, fast-paced, and funny movie, but it's one that explores Pixar's own view of the Cars franchise and how they view the critics of both Cars and Cars 2. Let me explain. [Show spoiler]

I posted this yesterday and it got deleted when I forgot my password. My account was degraded to "Guest" and now it's gone. So here are my thoughts again.
Overall, I really liked the movie and I did because of a theory I have regarding the story, specifically Mater's point in the movie. It may seem a little farfetched, or it may just be outright stupid, but I've gone back and thought about it a few times and I think it makes sense. Cars 2 may just be Pixar's most introspective movie to date. So I don't know what the hell is going on with my accounts. I had the chronomac account for many months, maybe even years, even though I didn't ever post using it. Then I make a lengthy reply in this thread and I decide to start posting regularly and my password didn't work anymore. Then my account is turned into a "Guest" then it disappears altogether. So I create a new account with my old email address (which wasn't being recognized by the password recovery service), make the same post again, noting that I was the original author and that I had to create another account. And what happens? That account gets deleted.
So I created yet another account, this time using my old user name! It let me register with that name and a new email address I hadn't used before. Can anyone help me with this issue? |
