Directed by Rory Owen comes a documentary that explores the "Greatest Basketball Rivalry In Sports History" of Louisville (Red) Vs. Kentucky (Blue). The film details the programs' back-to-back National Championships (2012-2013) and dives into the intensity of the rivalry as the schools once refused to play each other and gave the fans a 24 year hiatus (1959 to (1983) on the rivalry. The film features interviews with coaches, former players, and die hard fans from the storied rivalry. This film is a great pick up for any college basketball fan and will help in preparation for the Sweet 16 matchup on Friday night.

Watched it tonight and thought is was very well done. A good balanced look at the rivalry. Go Cards!

The Sweet Sixteen Game did not disappoint at was an instant classic as Kentucky took this one with a final score of 74 to 69 as they advance to Elite Eight for the 31st time (most in NCAA history). As for Louisville head coach, Rick Pitino, suffered his first lost in a Sweet Sixteen game (now 11-1). The head to head matchup of Coach Calipari and Rick Pitino is now 6-1 in favor of Coach Calipari and UK in the Greatest Rivalry in Basketball.

Hopefully one day we will see this game on blu ray. Go Cats!
