Default I care about PQ.

I do not care about sound right now. I only have a TV. PQ will always be more important to me anyway.

For me, I would have to choose both.
Right now I've got an awesome tv, but there are some movies in my collection (Amadeus, Lord Of The Rings) that I haven't watched because I want to wait for our audio upgrade. I know that our htib isn't the way I want to experience those movies.
On the other hand, If I had a Yamaha RCVR and Paradigm speakers (which is in my future) and a crappy tv I would still want to wait until the video upgrade was done as well.
Yeah, for me it's gotta be both!

The room's decore has made the choice for me. No big loudspeakers. I haven't owned any since college when I had a pair of boxey 15" 5 way BSRs that sometimes unceremoniously served as an end table. The clean lines of the svelte LED TV we have fits in nicely with everything else and has that appeal even when it's off. We're not going to mess with the uncluttered look.

Can`t live without both , If i have the top of the line image but no sound , i can never say when someone ask`s me , how does it sounds !!!! Theres always 3 questions attached to movies , 1: how it was , 2: how does it looks , 3:how does it sounds .

Basically what i am trying to say is if ppl enjoy a movie at theaters , why should`t i enjoy it at my place !!!

Have to say Audio, I could live with poor picture quality, and I love my SACD's, not that I have many but I couldn't live without them.
