Lionsgate will be releasing the 5th season of Orange is the New Black on June 12th. Personally, I thought this season was a nice change of pace for the series, and one of the better ones to date.

I’m gonna hope Lionsgate does a boxset after Season 7 is done and then I will pick up the complete series. Excellent show.

For what it's worth, a couple years ago they renewed it through season 7 but as far as I know have never said anywhere that it will definitively be the final season.

It might end up being the final one, but they could very well renew it again still

This is one of those shows that I really loved for a while and then just kind of forgot about after about three seasons. Would love to catch up but can hardly remember anything about the seasons I did watch.

Agreed. It's nice when a show knows to stop and not drag on endlessly way past it's prime *cough* Walking Dead *cough*

It's a shame the UK only gets a dvd release. No blu-ray, unlike the first four seasons. Germany is getting a blu-ray release, but only German subtitles. USA gets one, but it's region 1...

You’re gonna probably love Season 4. It’s considered by many as the best one to date (and I agree).

Does anyone know if season 5 and 6 are region 2 compatible? I recently imported Veep from the US and they play as region 2 aswell, just want to know if that's the case for OITNB aswell. The UK stopped with blu rays after S4.

Yup which seems what every company is doing now succession season 1 had Blu-ray and dvd and now season 2 is only dvd

That's why I buy a lot of TV show on digital HD. Rizzoli and Isles DVD was ok but the itunes HD looks great.

Bones, The Mentalist, The Closer full seasons on HD.

Not to mention the early TV shows coming out on HD like Gilligan's Island.

Never watched this show, but I do find it idiotic that they put out the show for so long on Blu-ray and then they don't put the FINAL season on Blu-ray. Very strange.
