Default Back to the Future 2 audio problems back on Blu-ray!

The audio problems that were on the first DVD release (before they exchanged the discs to fix the framing issues) are back on the Back to the Future 2 Blu-ray! Check out THIS video.

I can't believe people noticed this. Watched the "clip" and its so small that its not an issue for me, nor is it something I would have noticed without seeing the clip.

The Matrix Revolutions glitch was even more minor. This one is still pretty noticeable.

Another fail from Universal.

Hardly noticeable. It's like complaining that you noticed a speck of dust on the picture.

I don't see how a spec of dust is equal to several seconds of audio like an old chewed up VHS tape.
I realise some may not care about this, but for a blu-ray that is advertised for having perfect video and sound it's pretty pathetic, especially considering that the release DVDs had the same issue (before being replaced) and they didn't bother to check such issues for the blu-ray.

I've never noticed that, EVER! I have to agree, it's a silly thing to complain about. It's far sillier to suggest there should be a replacement plan for a 3 second audio glitch that's barely noticeable. I remember hearing the audio like that, but I don't think I ever knew it was even a glitch.

This will be settled in 2015, when that model of folding visor ships, and the sounds it makes are different in each region to suit local tastes.

Piece of crap Blu-ray, that's unforgivable.

*throws movie trilogy into trash*

Seriously though, is this really an issue here?

Technically yes. Whether or not people care about it is their opinion.

It's just a shame this small detail was overlooked. Universal has no excuse considering they dealt with the same exact problem on the DVDs.

Did you discover the defect yourself? When watching the movie, did you stop and go "hey!" when it came up? Did it ruin your viewing of the movie in any way?

We're talking about a few seconds of something I never would have known about had it not been for your thread. Out of almost 6 hours of movies, an audio glitch lasting only a couple seconds can't be considered an issue.

My only concern with the set is why Universal thought we wanted digital copies of the movies and gave us such asinine cases to hold them.

Non-issue as far as I'm concerned. Only Superman would notice that "problem" while watching the movie.

I never noticed that before..hmm I doubt Universal will fix the issue BUT it is pretty sad when Universal was aware of the problem and didn't fix it for the Blu-ray release. I never would have noticed had I not seen the video.

Gezzus...get a life.

No one would notice this without it being specifically pointed out.

Also, it sounds to me like it could be a phase error and while you can definitely hear it in mono, you might not hear it at all in multichannel.

I watched the Blu-ray before knowing about this at a fairly loud level and paying close attention and never noticed it.

I have watched my set once and I never noticed it. It's so minor though that I don't even care.

I must admit I'm surprised anyone would even consider this a "recall worthy" issue at all. To be honest, I never noticed it, and I had both the erroneous and corrected "BTTF" DVD sets and also the Blu-ray. And while I'll agree that those slight glitches do in fact occur, let me be the first to say that even if Universal did offer up a replacement program (which I'm 99.9% sure they won't), I wouldn't even bother with an exchange...it's so minor that it's not even really worth the time I'm taking to type this post ...
