Can anybody tell me if the UK release of 40 Days and 40 Nights is the same release/disc as the US one? I can’t find a single review or website that at the very least talks about the transfer or even mentions the specs!
![]() The US release was done by Lionsgate and then a few years later the UK release was handled by Universal. Noticed that the specs listed here show the UK is AVC-1 while the US release uses VC-1 codec. Also thought I read that the UK disc is actually on a BD-50 as well. Just need confirmation before I go ahead and import this. The US disc is one of the worst releases I own, so I’m sure any upgrade however minimal is worth getting! ![]() |
