I wonder if they've allowed the 'rape scene' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114287/alternateversions

The privately run and self-styled UK censor insisted on cuts to get it's "15" censor mark http://www.bbfc.co.uk/AVF065553/

US disc: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Rob-R.../17286/#Review seems to be the exact same as the French and other European Blu-rays. An excellent transfer for me.

Good news, the DVD looks beyond dire & it's a great movie.

I'm certain it won't be cut. Those classifications are quite outdated.

I bought the Aussie release of this ages ago, for £8.

It's well worth a pick up and bound to be in an HMV offer before you can blink.

I bought the german version and found the transfer to be quite poor. It had a number of dirt and damaged show on on quite a few ocassions.

I will sell it and buy UK if of course has better transfer.

Forgot where I'd bought this title from, for a moment, so I looked at this announcement and thought, "That's already out; why's it being re-released?"

I've got the OZ release as well. They didn't do a bad job of it, though I wouldn't mind a fuller bag of extras on the disc. Is it reasonable to assume this release will essentially be the same?

I expect it to be the same disc, would be surprised otherwise.

I'd say it's a lovely transfer -they left it alone which I appreciate. Keep things simple so we don't get shitty DNR automated transfers. As the DVD is garbage this is heaven-sent for fans.

I heard Criterion are doing a 3D 6-disc faux Scottish tartan and heather wrapping edition with a little satchet of Rob Roy's spittle. Some people might wait for that.
