If i order from WB will it come out on time? - Blu-ray Forum

I wanted to Pre-order Hairspray which comes out Nov 20th and i wanted to know if i pre order, will it come to my house on Nov 20th because they have it before because they made it. Unlike Best Buy or other who have to wait for shipments to come in.

The answer to this question depends on whether or not WarnerVideo will have finished processing their backlog of orders. Normally, you may probably get blu-rays quickly on or around the release date. However, the WarnerVideo store did a system upgrade during Aug-Sep 4th and no orders were processed during that time. They are trying to catch up with their orders now. They are still processing orders from early August.

They expect to fill my Sep 5th in about 3-4 weeks. We'll see.
