Default Witness

I just watched Witness (Siskel and Eberts review of Witness starts at about 10:50) on DVD and absolutely loved it, just the human story between Samuel and John, and John and Rachel. The movie is a masterful drama with thrilling undertones.

I'm surprised this isn't out on Blu-ray yet. One of Harrison Ford's most popular movies outside of the George Lucas franchises. It's so beautiful, both in terms of the cinematography and the original score. Very deserving of a high-def release.

Peter Weir is my favorite director. I hope to own every one of his films on Blu-ray one day.
